Mobile App Analytics is being released in beta on Friday to Droid and iOS. The reports are designed to give developers (and the brands they work for) data about who is using the apps, how they’re using it and if that use is leading to purchases.

Google Intros Google+ Events, Tablet App
On Wednesday, Google introduced Google+ Events, a new social planning service available on the search giant’s one-year-old social networking platform. They also unveiled its first optimized version of Google+ for tablets.

Twitter’s Mobile Ads Begin to Click
Twitter Inc. is showing early signs of success selling advertising on mobile devices, an area that is bedeviling Internet companies including Facebook Inc. and Google Inc. GOOG
Twitter is now generating the majority of its revenue from ads shown to its users on mobile gadgets, rather than from ads on Twitter.com, company executives said.

The best day of the week for brands to tweet and update Facebook
On Twitter and Facebook, Tuesday is the best day of the week for engagement, according to a new report from Yesmail. Unfortunately, the brands in the study most often tweeted and updated their Facebook pages on days when engagement among followers was at its lowest.
