The public relations industry is changing rapidly where the lines between public relations and marketing are no longer as distinct, thanks in part to the integration of social media and social marketing.  More and more agencies — be it public relations, advertising, marketing or social media — are fighting for a land grab across the entire integrated marketing landscape.  Since Trevelino/Keller launched PR Starbase, we wanted it to be a community that fostered the careers of professionals across each of the communications disciplines.  While it started out with a focus on public relations, we have purposefully morphed it into a PRofessional services portal for professionals who cut across any and all marketing communications segments.
